About Llwyn Filly
Llwyn Filly is just the kind of smaller, homelier centre to choose for a group of Brownies – especially if it’s their first time away from home. Or maybe it would appeal to a group of Guides who would like to have a place to themselves for the duration of their stay?
Before its conversion, Llwyn Filly was a farmhouse on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, a few minutes from the book town of Hay-on-Wye; now it can house a group of up to 50 girls – and is often booked on sole occupancy.
The friendly atmosphere brings your group together into a close community away from home, and sharing dormitories of up to 16 makes the experience a little more like the traditional Brownie or Guide ‘camp’.
With PGL Tregoyd just 5 minutes away, Llwyn Filly is able to offer a full range of outdoor adventure activities in spite of its small size – so you really do get the best of both worlds!

Extra healthy or extra food?
Whether your Brownies & Guides are passionate about healthy eating or just need that little extra bit of re-fuelling, we have a fantastic self-service salad bar that offers a great range of delicious salad choices. We also have tasty, homemade soup for them to try and plenty of fresh fruit that they can take with them to keep them going between activity sessions.
If after all that, they still would like a little more, just ask one of our friendly catering team and we’ll be happy to provide extra food.

There may be girls in your group that have special dietary needs or some that are just choosy about what they eat. Whatever the requirement, our team will be able to provide a variety of alternative options to suit the needs of your group.

|09.15 - 12.30||Morning activities - usually 2 sessions with a 15 minute break in-between.
|12.30 - 14.00||Dry off & clean up. Time for a fresh & tasty two-course hot lunch.|
|14.15 - 17.30||Afternoon activities - 2 exciting sessions with a 15 minute break in-between.
|18.00 - 19.00||Time to eat again - a different menu each day.|
|19.00 - 21.00||Talent shows, campfires, quizzes and more. The evening entertainment programme keeps you laughing until bedtime.|
|21.00 / 21.30||Bedtime. Catch up on some zzz's and prepare to do it all over again tomorrow!|
