for Cubs and Scouts
About Lou Valagran
Lou Valagran is the perfect place for your Cubs and Scouts to experience all the Ardèche region has to offer on an outdoor adventure camp. The highlight is the spectacular 30km descent of the Ardèche River under the watchful eyes of our experienced river team. They’ll make sure your group gets the most out of this thrilling and unforgettable experience which includes an overnight bivouac.
The River Cèze flows gently past Lou Valagran, our residential activity centre, 30 miles north of Avignon. There are plenty of adventure activities in the grounds to challenge and inspire your group, and many places of interest in the vicinity to discover, including waterfalls, vineyards and historic caves.
The three ’villages’ at Lou Valagran provide comfortable accommodation for visiting groups in purpose-built chalets sleeping up to six. Group leaders are accommodated in twin bedded chalets.

For the ultimate challenge, our activities in the South of France offer exhilarating once-in-a-lifetime experiences. On site we offer plenty of adventure activities.
Off-site we make the most of the opportunities in the Ardèche, including canyoning which is available at a supplement.
Our centres in southern France offer a fantastic range of delicious food choices for you and your group to enjoy. We source fresh, regional produce whenever we can and you’ll always find a cultural flavour to our menus. Our aim is to ensure your group leaves feeling full and happy. If a member of your group has a specific dietary requirement or is particularly choosy about what they eat, we will always prepare something suitable. And if they’d like some more to eat, we can offer alternatives and extra food.
A continental feel
We like to provide a balance by providing food that is familiar but also by giving you an opportunity to try food that has a distinctly French flavour too!
Enjoy your food
We strive to provide quality meals wherever you are eating them – as well as a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. So, whether you are in the surroundings of our clean and pleasant dining rooms or on the banks of a river, enjoy your food with PGL!
