Scottish Adventure and Study

The PGL Scottish Adventure and Study programme combines English language learning with exciting outdoor activities and excursions.

Engaging, enjoyable and fun, this programme is an ideal opportunity for students to learn English in a friendly, English speaking environment and discover the spectacular Scottish countryside.

Open to students of all ages and abilities, the course is available at Dalguise, Perthshire our residential adventure centre in Scotland.

Activities include white water rafting, plus a full day excursion travelling through spectacular scenery on the steam train known as the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter films.

How does it work?

  • Specially designed English language courses are engaging, enjoyable and fun, giving every student the best opportunities to learn English in a friendly, English-speaking environment.
  • Exciting adventure activities including white water rafting and canyoning - provided by a local extreme sports company - plus hill walking led by PGL instructors.
  • A day trip of a lifetime by steam train on the West Highland line through spectacular Scottish countryside.
  • Mountain biking: explore the dramatic scenery around Dalguise.
