for secondary schools
NEW! Opening spring 2018 for secondary schools!
About Bawdsey Manor
Our brand new outdoor adventure centre is a stunning place to bring your students on their next school trip! Bawdsey Manor is located on the Deben Estuary and has panoramic views across the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
The centre itself has over 140 acres of beautiful grounds which will be packed with a huge range of adventure activities to inspire and motivate your students.
Work will start on the centre very soon to get it ready for opening in spring 2018. Comfortable accommodation will be provided for students and teachers and there will be lots of classroom space available for study sessions.
Students will be able to enjoy the range of facilities on site including the indoor sports hall/gym, games room and the amazing beach and coastline around the extensive grounds.
We are expecting peak travel dates to sell out fast for next year, so don’t hesitate to secure your preferred dates! We are taking bookings for spring 2018 now and we will be releasing dates of teacher preview visits very soon.

All activity sessions are led by our well trained, enthusiastic instructors who know exactly how to make the most of the challenges and opportunities each activity presents.
Each evening there'll be a lively evening entertainment programme to enjoy too, so everyone is kept busy right up until bedtime!
Balanced, great-tasting meals
We’ve got plenty of hot and cold food options for your students to choose from and all our meals are freshly cooked at every mealtime.
Soup and salad – a meal in itself
Our salad bar is always busy at mealtimes and provides a wide choice of healthy, nutritious salad choices for your group. There’s also homemade soup available every day and lots of fresh fruit – they can help themselves!
For the more particular
We’ll do our best to cater for any dietary requirements your students may have. Our catering team will always find something to suit. For those students who just want a bit more, just ask us – we always have extra food available.
Taking pride in what we do
Providing great food in a pleasant and well-maintained environment is important to us. We want to ensure your dining experience is as good as we can make it and we work hard to ensure you have everything you need.
