Adventure Holiday Programme
for international students
aged 8-16
Make learning English an adventure
Here’s the perfect opportunity for children from around the world to socialise with English-speaking children and to learn and improve their conversational English.
Our Multi-Activity holidays provide challenges, excitement and fun - all day, every day. They are the ideal opportunity for students to make friends with English-speaking children in a fun and friendly environment.
How does it work?
Multi-Activity Holidays
Our activity camps include a full programme of adventure activities every day – generally two sessions in the morning followed by two sessions in the afternoon. All adventure sessions are led by English-speaking PGL staff and groups are fully integrated. For some activities (for example raft building and canoeing) we allocate a double session so that your group isn’t rushed and can get the most from their experience. Students are able to improve their English in a natural, enjoyable way in an English-speaking environment and the adventures bring even more benefits such as improved confidence, greater independence and lots of new friends.
Specialist Holidays
Does your group have a particular interest? Our Specialist holidays offer a choice of different programmes, such as horse riding, surfing and Adrenaline Adventure, each one providing a fresh challenge, a new hobby, or the chance to learn a new skill. Each day is as action-packed as our Multi-Activity holiday and most include half a day of adventure activities as well as the specialist element.
Whatever type of holiday you choose there’s always plenty to do in the evenings, with a full programme of PGL entertainment to keep guests busy and happy until bedtime.
These programmes are both available during UK school holidays. And the good news is, you can book these holidays for just one child if you like – or for any sized group of children – we’re fully flexible. And if you’re booking a group, they’ll qualify for a free adult place for every 12 children.
