The hotel is situated on the hillside above the valley floor, 3km from the centre of Saalbach. The Eder family always offers a warm welcome, making your stay as memorable as possible!

Saalbach is close to a large ski area and has an excellent selection of lively après ski opportunities. Beginners spend their first day on the beginners’ slope next to the Schönleitenbahn lift (a 1km coach or taxi-shuttle ride away) or next to the hotel by prior arrangement with the ski school, snow permitting.

They then progress to the Babylift at the Gondola middle station or the Schattburg lifts in the centre of Saalbach, just 3km from the hotel.

More experienced skiers can ski directly out from the hotel in the morning on Piste 61 (a red run), and back to the hotel at the end of the day, snow permitting.

Accommodation

The hotel has 55 beds in 12 light and airy rooms, all with en suite showers and toilets.

The modern and comfortable rooms have stunning views overlooking the Saalbach valley.

Rooms sleep up to eight and are spread over three floors. Guests keep their rooms right up until departure.

All teachers have double rooms (Austrian twins) which are spacious and traditionally decorated.

As the hotel offers sole occupancy, the group is free to use the dining room in the evening for meetings and entertainment.

Accommodation is on a full board basis. Breakfast is served buffet-style. A packed lunch is provided for the slopes and the three-course evening meal is served to the table. Tap water is available at all meals on request and the hotelier also serves drinks.

You may be charged a damage deposit on arrival.

Intermediates will enjoy the beautiful tree-lined pistes on both sides of the valley and the open snowfields above Hinterglemm. Experts will find some steep and bumpy challenges, especially on the formidable Zwölfer run from the top of Hinterglemm at almost 2000 metres down to the bottom of the valley. Meanwhile, for beginners the nursery slopes are close to both village centres, with a range of good, easy runs higher up.
