Hotel First Mountain is a modern hotel on the outskirts of the small village of Gaschurn. The village centre is less than 1km walk away, with restaurants, cafés and sports shops..

The hotel is well located, right in the middle of the Montafon valley, with the Versettla gondola only a short coach ride (1.3km) away.

Beginners start on the beginners’ area at the base station of the gondola and then progress to the top gondola station, where there are beginner slopes offering skiing at 2000m. Later in the week they can explore the whole of the Silvretta Nova region, which offers a wide variety of skiing for beginners and experts alike.

Accommodation

The hotel has a total of 144 beds in 32 rooms spread over 3 floors. Students are generally accommodated in spacious 3-4 bedded rooms and teachers are mainly in 2-4 bedded rooms. All rooms are en suite and are equipped with a TV, safe and hairdryer: most have a balcony.

There is a large traditional dining room which can seat over 100 guests. There is also a bar and lounge area which has disco lights and a sound system. Both can be used as meeting rooms for evening activities.

Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style, and a packed lunch is made up at breakfast to take to the slopes. Tap water is available on request.

A damage deposit may be payable on arrival. Lost keys will incur a charge of €5.
