About Jugendhotel Buchegg
The Jugendhotel Buchegg offers a high standard of youth accommodation and a true mountain experience.
Experienced skiers can ski directly from the hotel, whilst beginners take a taxi shuttle down to the beginner lifts on the valley floor. Beginners usually meet at the bottom of the Westgipfel lift. They can then progress to the more challenging slopes on the Zwölferkogel before exploring further afield to the slopes in Hinterglemm, Saalbach and Fieberbrunn.
The coach is unable to reach the hotel. Taxi shuttles are provided to take the group to lessons and back, if required.
Accommodation
There are a total of 392 beds in 44 multi-bedded and 14 double rooms. Adults are usually accommodated in 2-3 bedded rooms and students are generally accommodated in 6 bedded rooms.
A damage deposit may be charged on arrival.
There is a spacious, modern dining room. Breakfast is served buffet style. A packed lunch is provided for the slopes. However, hot lunches are available on request (subject to an extra charge). In the evenings, there is a 3-course meal with a generous salad buffet.
Tap water is available for all meals. Soft drinks can be bought from the drinks bar or from the 2 drink machines.

Intermediates will enjoy the beautiful tree-lined pistes on both sides of the valley and the open snowfields above Hinterglemm. Experts will find some steep and bumpy challenges, especially on the formidable Zwölfer run from the top of Hinterglemm at almost 2000 metres down to the bottom of the valley. Meanwhile, for beginners the nursery slopes are close to both village centres, with a range of good, easy runs higher up.
