Pension Stadlmühle
Zell-am-See/Kaprun
About Pension Stadlmühle
Run by the Steiner family, the Pension Stadlmühle, is a traditional Austrian guesthouse with a combination of hotel-style and apartment-style rooms. The Steiners have welcomed UK school groups to the Zell am See/Kaprun region for many years. The pension is situated 2km from the centre of the village of Bruck. The Zell am See Lifts (Areitbahn) are just a 6km drive away, while the Maiskogel and Kitzsteinhorn lifts in Kaprun are a further 10-minutes' drive down the valley.
Beginners start on the beginners’ area opposite the Areitbahn gondola then progress to the Glocknerwiese at the top of Areitbahn 1. From here they have access to the whole Zell am See ski area. Later in the week they can progress to the ski areas of Kaprun, including the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, which has lifts above 3000m.
Accommodation
The hotel has a total of 68 available beds spread over 3 floors. Students are generally accommodated in spacious 2-5 bedded rooms. Teachers are mainly accommodated in 2-4 bedded rooms.
