Creating a focus for study
When the pressure is on to get results, give your students some serious revision time - with some fun thrown in. With so many distractions and pressures on students, it’s often difficult for them to find the time and the space for revision.
PGL Revision Weekends help keep them motivated, focussed and engaged, with our unique combination of adventure activities and teacher-led study time.
Revision facilities
You run your own revision sessions, we provide the classroom space.
Students enjoy a comfortable environment in which to work, up to 15 per classroom containing conference-style chairs and lightweight tables with all classrooms offering a flipchart and pens, drywipe whiteboard and pens, data projector or large TV screen. In some cases, Wi-Fi access may be available in some classrooms. Classrooms are easily reconfigured for different classroom layouts to cater for the type of revision you have planned for your group – for example, projects, group work or individual study.
Activities
Revision sessions are complemented by adventure activities, ranging from problem solving and challenge course to raft building and giant swing, to provide a balanced and stimulating daily programme. PGL led activity time will be programmed for up to half of daytime sessions for your students.

Learning outcomes
A PGL Revision Weekend can help reduce feelings of pressure and stress by providing focussed classroom time for students to make progress with revision. The structured adventure activity time provides a mental break and the chance to burn off excess energy.
PGL’s adventure activities can help improve transferrable skills such as timekeeping, planning, and mini-project management, which students can then apply back in the revision room. Our instructors will highlight these skills within each activity to help your students make those connections.
Other common outcomes include improved motivation, increased confidence and better relationships and cooperation.
