Located in the centre of the small town of Ötztal Bahnhof only 6km from the lifts of the Hochoetz ski resort. Close to the hotel is a supermarket, bank and a café.

Most groups start the week on the beginner slopes of Hochoetz. As progress is made and for more able skiers there are plenty more slopes waiting to be explored in one of the highest resorts in Austria - Kühtai, which is further along the valley and offers snow-sure slopes from a height of 2020m.

Accommodation

The Aktiv Hotel has a large dining room that can be separated into 2 separate rooms, a teacher’s lounge, 2 large common rooms, a stüberl and a party room. Some of the rooms have a balcony.

The hotel has a 146 beds in 42 rooms. Students are generally accommodated in 4-6 bedded rooms. Teachers are mainly accommodated in double rooms. All rooms are en suite.

Breakfast is served buffet style. A packed lunch is provided for the slopes and the 3-course evening meal is served to the table. Tap water is available at all meals on request.

You may be charged a damage deposit on arrival.
