Promoting your trip

Use PowerPoint presentations - available on MyPGL. Get students who have been on previous trips to sell the trip with their stories and enthusiasm. Show videos and photos from recent trips, or use online videos to get everyone inspired.

A sample letter can be found in MyPGL. Map out the payment schedule monthly so parents only have to pay small amounts. Give PGL leaflets to interested people. When sending out a letter of interest, make sure you ask for a deposit. You can always refund it if your trip doesn’t go ahead before you pay PGL.

Put posters up around school to advertise the trip. These can be downloaded from MyPGL.

Use your school's social media platforms to reach students and their parents.
